1. Who we are

EOTK Rankings is operated by the Cyprus Taekwondo Federation (E.O.T.K.). It provides official athlete, club, tournament and ranking information through this website and the EOTK Rankings Android application.

2. Website information

When you use the website, our systems and service providers may process:

• IP address, browser information, timestamps and requested pages;
• ranking filters, athlete searches and pages viewed;
• technical information required to operate, secure and diagnose the service; and
• information you voluntarily submit through federation contact channels.

3. Android application information

The EOTK Rankings app does not require an account. When you use athlete search, rankings, filters, athlete profiles or club profiles, the app sends the relevant request to our API. These requests may include athlete search terms, federation athlete identifiers, selected filters, requested pages, IP addresses, timestamps and API endpoints.

The app does not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, payment information or advertising identifier. It does not contain advertising, analytics or behavioural-tracking SDKs.

4. How information is used

Information is processed to:

• provide rankings, profiles, searches and filters;
• operate and secure the website, app and API;
• diagnose technical problems and maintain reliability; and
• respond to enquiries submitted to the Federation.

We do not use app information for advertising, profiling or personalised marketing.

5. Athlete ranking information

EOTK Rankings displays official sporting records supplied by the Federation. These records may include athlete names, federation identifiers, clubs, birth years, sex, age and weight categories, tournament participation, placements and ranking points. This information comes from official competition records and is not collected from the person using the app.

6. Local app storage

The Android app may store previously viewed rankings, athlete profiles and club profiles on your device to provide offline access. You can remove this information by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app.

7. Cookies

The website may use cookies needed for site preferences and administrative functionality. For more information, see the Federation's Cookie Policy. The Android app does not use cookies for advertising or behavioural tracking.

8. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by providers that host and support our website, API, databases and infrastructure. They process information on our behalf for service delivery, maintenance and security. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect our legal rights and systems.

9. Retention

• App search caches are normally deleted automatically after approximately one hour.
• Server and infrastructure logs are automatically deleted within 90 days.
• Enquiries may be retained as needed to respond and maintain appropriate records.
• Official competition records may be retained as part of the Federation's sporting records.

10. Security

Information transmitted between the app, website and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, but no electronic system can guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

The EOTK Rankings app is intended for users aged 13 and over. It does not offer user accounts, advertising, payments or direct messaging. Federation ranking records may include athletes under 18; these official sporting records are separate from information about the person using the app.

12. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the GDPR, you may request access to or correction of your personal data, deletion where applicable, restriction or objection to processing, and data portability where applicable. Because app requests are not connected to user accounts, we may be unable to associate a particular server request with a specific person.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
